providing oversight, insight, and assurance to support effective decision-making and protect public investment.

Duties
- The Role
- The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is an historic and transformative endeavour for
- Australia. The whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver the cutting edge nuclear-powered submarine program
- will transform Australia’s economic and national security landscape for decades to come.
- As Director of Supply Chain & Workforce, you will play a central role in supporting the shipbuilder to successfully deliver
- the SSN-AUKUS program. You will focus on ensuring supply chain and workforce capabilities are in place, working
- closely with industry, government, and international partners to remove barriers and enable delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across ASA, industry, and government to coordinate
- Supply Chain and Workforce outcomes;
- Support the shipbuilder to ensure supply chain capability is in place to deliver the program,
- identifying gaps and driving practical solutions;
- Work with international partners, including the UK, to leverage existing capability and support
- development within Australia;
- Support Australian suppliers to scale and uplift to meet program needs;
- Enable the shipbuilder’s establishment of industrial workforce capability to successfully
- deliver the SSN-AUKUS program.
