About Administrative Review Tribunal
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Public Affairs, you will provide a professional and responsive
communication service with a range of stakeholders.
In this role you will:
deliver high-quality, user-focused communications with a focus on external audiences
hone your skills in content production, media liaison, and project and stakeholder
management
work across a range of projects to engage audiences, mainly through digital channels.

Duties
- Communication services: Develop, implement and review communication and
- engagement plans, and other products for diverse audiences. Research and draft a range of
- documents and materials that advance organisational priorities, support decision-making and
- solve problems. Use digital platforms, including Microsoft SharePoint, GovCMS (Drupal) and
- social media, to publish and maintain content. Manage key projects, including digital content
- audits and the annual report.
- Leadership: Coordinate the day-to-day operations and performance of the team including
- planning and managing workloads. Build team capacity through coaching, performance
- feedback, and encouraging professional development. Mentor and train APS5
- Communications Officers and other staff.
- Stakeholder management: Use negotiation and collaboration skills to establish and
- maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including the
- Tribunal’s senior leaders and vendors. Provide tailored options, solutions, and timely and
- accurate advice.
- Process improvement and innovation : Identify and pro-actively drive process
- improvements. Contribute to the development of team objectives for short-term tasks and
- strategic planning for longer-term initiatives. Model best practice communications and
- stakeholder engagement approaches to drive adoption of emerging technologies within the
- team and across the wider organisation. Identify opportunities to continuously improve the
- Tribunal’s performance in these areas.

- Desirable:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional experience would be considered highly
- desirable.
