NOPSEMA is Australia’s independent regulator for health and safety, well integrity and environmental management for offshore
petroleum and greenhouse gas storage activities in Commonwealth waters (comprising the first three nautical miles of the territorial
sea) and in coastal waters where regulatory powers and functions have been conferred. For more information see nopsema.gov.au

Duties

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • The key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
  • Establish and oversee a robust and agile change management and communication framework
  • and associated change management principles, tools and methodologies.
  • Build and develop the change management, stakeholder engagement and communication
  • capabilities and skills for the program.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders, staff, and other key stakeholders to design and deliver
  • effective change management activities, such as stakeholder analysis and engagement, impact
  • assessment, risk identification, training and education.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and report on the progress and outcomes, using
  • appropriate metrics and measures.

  • respond flexibly to change and uncertainty.
  • You are outcome focused, you enjoy leading change and working collaboratively with
  • colleagues.
  • You understand Australian Government change management and communication policies and
  • frameworks, and you can adapt and implement best practices from other industries.
  • You are comfortable to communicate complex change management and communication
  • concepts to a range of stakeholders, including Executive Management Team.
  • You can demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to build
  • productive professional networks and work collaboratively to deliver outcomes and to influence for
  • success.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Eligibility / Notes

  • You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and maintain
  • medical fitness.
  • You must pass and maintain a security clearance to a level appropriate for
  • the position.
  • Prior to any offer of employment, the recommended applicant will be
  • required to undertake pre-employment checks, including national police
  • clearance and declaration of conflict of interest.
  • NOPSEMA staff are prohibited from trading in oil and gas resources
  • and/or offshore renewable electricity sector shares.
