Duties

  • Your duties and responsibilities will be aligned to the relevant APS Work Level Standards.
  • Your key duties may include:
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of the Verify research and development program, including
  • grant-funded and contracted research activities, ensuring alignment with agreed priorities,
  • governance and timelines.
  • Provide secretariat support for the committees and meetings as they relate to research and
  • development.
  • Support the oversight of ongoing safeguards research and development activities with trilateral
  • partners, working with internal and external stakeholders to track progress, risks and deliverables.
  • Work with the IAEA Department of Safeguards to support consideration of how research and
  • development outputs may be integrated into the international safeguards system.
  • Identify and create opportunities to promote the Verify program, its outcomes and future
  • directions, and to attract interest from domestic and international partners in engaging with or
  • supporting the program.
  • Represent and promote the Verify program in domestic and international settings, including
  • contributing to presentations, speaking notes, talking points and senior-level briefing material to
  • support ASNO leadership and strategic engagement.
  • Build into contracts and grant agreements with funded projects and activities leads to ensure that
  • ASNO and the Australian Government are appropriately and correctly recognised, that outcomes
  • are clearly articulated and translated for non-technical audiences and that digital content is
  • captured to assist in promoting and reporting on outcomes.
  • Develops, tracks and reports on performance measures for the Verify program, including
  • contributing to internal reporting, corporate products and ASNO’s Annual Report, to demonstrate
  • outcomes, benefits and value.
  • Maintains oversight of program activities to ensure reporting, messaging and engagement
  • activities accurately reflect agreed priorities, progress and risks.
