About Administrative Review Tribunal
The Communications Officer works collaboratively to deliver a professional, responsive
communications service for the Tribunal’s internal and external stakeholders. Supporting a range
of communications, media and stakeholder engagement activities, the role works across diverse
projects and digital channels, creating engaging content, providing communications advice and
fostering productive relationships.
The Communications & Public Affairs team offers challenging work in a supportive environment,

Duties
- Internal and external communications services: contribute to the delivery of effective
- internal and external communications, including by developing and implementing
- communications plans and schedules, drafting messages and publishing on digital channels
- Communications support and advice: provide support to the team and assist in preparing
- high level advice for the Tribunal’s senior leadership group on communications issues
- Media relations: provide support to the team and assist in preparing responses to support
- the Tribunal’s engagement with the media
- Stakeholder management: build and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with
- internal and external stakeholders, and ensure they receive timely advice and guidance.

- Qualifications
- Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in a field of study relevant to some or all of the required capabilities,
- OR relevant experience in a similar work environment.
