Duties
- We are seeking qualified Senior Lawyers with a strong drive for success to join the Tax
- Practitioners Board.
- As a Senior Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing specialist legal advice and litigation
- services across a broad range of complex general law and administrative law matters, including on
- the Tax Agent Services Act. You’ll exercise a high degree of independence in the provision of your
- advice and conduct of your litigation matters, which may involve high profile, sensitive and
- strategic matters.
- You will ensure that advice provided and litigation conduct by the TPB’s Legal Unit is legally sound
- and aligns with organisational priorities. This will require working with a broad range of
- stakeholders across the TPB, including advising on complex investigations into potential breaches
- of the Tax Agent Services Act.
