This role supports operational teams by handling a broad range of administrative, corporate and operational tasks so sworn members can focus on investigation and outcomes. Duties (What You Will Do)

Reporting & QA Data quality reviews; composition and dissemination of operational and corporate reports; liaise with Corporate Services teams.
Administrative Support Manage team assets and equipment; file management; coordinate interpreters and witnesses; hospitality requests; event management; secretariat duties; maintain contact lists.
Corporate Support Procurement; financial administration; asset audits; travel; liaison with contractors; fleet maintenance; onboarding support for new members and secondees.
Property & Exhibits Data entry; exhibit continuity during forensic procedures; assist with return and destruction of property; liaise with Forensics and Property & Exhibits teams.

About You (Eligibility)

  • You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
  • Minimum Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
  • Efficient time management, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Calm and effective in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to apply confidentiality, judgement and initiative; understand integrity and mandatory reporting requirements.
