Duties

  • The processing, analysis and release of major tourism data releases, including data
  • dashboards, publications and annual reports
  • Production of analytical outputs that explain not just what the data show, but why it matters
  • Query responses from internal and external stakeholders, requiring a thorough
  • understanding of Tourism Research Australia (TRA) datasets and available information
  • Working collaboratively with the team at Austrade, contracted agencies, state and territory
  • governments and a range of external stakeholders to understand and deliver on data and
  • research priorities
  • Communicating outputs clearly and effectively through written reports to senior managers,
  • publications, and via data visualisations
  • Effectively contributing to the delivery of long-term projects and short-term commitments
  • Contributing to an inclusive and effective team culture focussed on continuous learning,
  • evaluation and improvement of skills, processes and outcomes.
  • Assisting in project management of TRA deliverables and publications.

Eligibility / Notes

  • Australian citizenship – our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.
  • Security clearance – our successful candidate is required to hold, or have the ability to
  • obtain, and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
