Join a dynamic and rewarding area within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG)
Joint Systems Division (JSD) currently have a vacant Business Intelligence role in Land
Command, Control Communications and Computer (C4) Systems Branch (LC4S LBAM SPO).
The team is high-performing, collaborative, and responsible for supporting the SPO Director to
effectively manage the corporate performance and decision making functions across the SPO.

Duties

  • The Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of reliable, robust Command, Control,
  • Communication, and Computer (C4) capability and achieve high quality outcomes on large
  • complex projects, in areas accountable for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of
  • world-class C4 Systems to the Land domain. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled APS6
  • Business Intelligence professional who is able to provide leadership and demonstrate a proven
  • record of delivering business outcomes.
  • As a Business Intelligence Officer, you will be providing intelligence and business support to the
  • System Program Office Headquarters (SPO HQ) team. The role is fast paced and requires strong
  • organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a high volume of tasks and enquiries.
  • You will be responsible for a broad range of activities including (but not limited to) data
  • management, reporting, and analysis tasks to help the business make informed decisions.
  • Broader, duties will include:
  • Collect, clean and maintain data from multiple sources (databases, systems, spreadsheets),
  • ensuring accuracy and integrity, and produce regular reports and dashboards to support
  • decision.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant legislation and Defence policies to ensure data analysis and
  • reporting outputs align with organisational requirements and strategic direction.
  • Maintain documentation and records relating to data sources, reporting processes,
  • definitions, and methodologies to support consistency and transparency.
  • Support coordination of SPO HQ tasks by tracking, consolidating and analysing returns to
  • produce meaningful insights and status reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs, providing timely,
  • accurate information, and delivering clear analysis, summaries, and actionable insights.
  • Manage and respond to data and reporting queries, including monitoring the group inbox and
  • ensuring requests are prioritised and addressed efficiently.
  • Supporting SPO Information Management activities
  • Supporting the SPO Business Manager with the delivery of ad hoc, priority tasks as
  • delegated.
