About Administrative Review Tribunal

The Office Manager is a unique and varied role with responsibility for coordinating accommodation
management tasks, delivering operational protective security risk management and service
delivery, and ensuring that each office location adheres to Tribunal policies and procedures to
support operational and strategic outcomes. You will also balance facilities,
stakeholderengagementand some basic operational finance tasks
Working closely with a small, collegial national Office Manager cohort, you will have daytoday
responsibility for the Adelaide and Darwin offices. The team culture is practical, supportive and
collaborative, with a strong focus on trust, accountability and getting things done.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, professionalism and integrity with the ability to thrive
in a busy, challenging environment.

Duties

  • Accommodation Management: Ensure office functionalities are fit-for-purpose and comply with
  • regulations by coordinating activities such as fit-out adjustments, refurbishments, maintenance
  • and repair of services and equipment. Act as primary contact for building issues and emergency
  • responses.
  • Expertise: Provide well-informed operational advice and guidance to members and staff on
  • accommodation, property, facilities, protective security framework and procedures and asset
  • management. Deliver in-house training on security procedures and foster a positive risk culture.
  • Stakeholder management: Liaise, negotiate, and build productive working relationships with
  • internal and external stakeholders, external agencies, service providers, suppliers, contractors,
  • and building management representatives.
  • Support: Assist members and staff with work point allocations, set up and coordinate special
  • events and support diverse requests from Assistant Directors in relation to facilities, WHS issues
  • and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Remote Management: Manage operational delivery across two locations, including oversight of
  • the Darwin (DAR) registry, by coordinating local support arrangements, maintaining regular
  • engagement with on-site staff and stakeholders, and adapting service delivery approaches to
  • ensure consistent outcomes.

Eligibility / Notes

  • Essential:
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment
  • Security Clearance – Have or be eligible to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security
  • Clearance (support will be provided to obtain NV2 if required).
  • Desirable:
  • Experience managing operations across multiple locations, including coordinating facilities or
  • accommodation functions remotely.
