The Exchange and Cloud Administrator will manage and improve the department’s cloud and messaging environments. On a daily basis you’ll configure and maintain mobile device management, look after Exchange policies, manage device lifecycles, enforce security policies, troubleshoot complex issues, monitor performance and stay ahead of emerging technologies to keep services reliable and secure.

Duties (What You Will Do)

Key Responsibilities Specific Tasks
MDM Platform Administration Configure and maintain MDM solutions to manage device enrolment, policies, and applications for Ivathi and Intune.
Exchange Management On-premises and online Exchange management; configure mailbox policies to enforce security settings.
Device Lifecycle Management Provisioning, deployment, maintenance and decommissioning of mobile devices.
Security Policy Enforcement Develop and implement mobile security policies to protect corporate data.
Troubleshooting Resolve complex issues related to mobile device connectivity and email synchrony.
Performance Monitoring Monitor and optimise performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Staying Current Keep up-to-date with emerging network technologies and threats to strengthen security posture.

About You (Eligibility)

  • Proven experience as an Exchange Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Messaging and MDM services.
  • Experience with security measures and best practices, Defender, M365 and Purview.
  • Strong scripting ability (PowerShell).
  • Proficiency in performance monitoring and optimisation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and threats.
  • Australian citizenship is required.
  • Willing to undergo police record check and obtain security clearance as required.
