Duties

  • Be a part of something new!
  • We are looking for a capable and motivated leader to step into the APS6 Team Leader – Recruitment and
  • Entry Level Programs role, helping shape how we grow and support our future workforce across national
  • network of hostels and corporate.
  • In this role, you will lead a small recruitment team and provide high-level advice to executives, senior
  • leaders and selection panels on APS legislation, policy and best practice. You will ensure recruitment
  • process are timely, merit-based, culturally appropriate and responsive to operational needs across metro,
  • regional and remote locations. This is a hands-on supervisor role in a changing space including the
  • opportunity to be involved in developing and implementing the new entry-level programs and building new
  • approaches to workforce pathways from the ground up! These programs aim to strengthen long term
  • capability and improve access and participation for First Nations peoples!
  • You will also support continuous improvement in recruitment and play a key role in the implementation and
  • optimisation of a new recruitment system. This role suits someone who is comfortable working in an
  • evolving environment, enjoys problem solving and wants to have a real impact on how a workforce is built
  • and supported across a large diverse agency.

  • This position is based in Canberra; however, other locations may be considered.
