Duties
- As an you will play a key role in supporting the delivery APS4 Talent Acquisition Officer (TAO),
- of fair, transparent and merit-based recruitment outcomes across the department.
- Working as part of a small collaborative team, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processing,
- coordinate recruitment activities and provide practical guidance to hiring managers.
- In this fast-paced role, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage competing
- priorities and ensure recruitment activities are delivered accurately, efficiently and in accordance
- with APS legislation, policy and departmental procedures. You will maintain accurate records,
- support positive candidate experiences and contribute to inclusive recruitment practices that
- attract diverse talent.

- technology and contemporary recruitment practices to enhance service delivery.

- As an , you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of APS4 Program Administrator
- the department’s entry level employment programs, helping to attract, develop and retain future
- talent.
- Working as part of a small collaborative team, you will contribute to the delivery and evaluation of
- employment programs that provide meaningful career opportunities to build the department’s
- workforce capability. You will work closely with program participants, hiring managers, providers
- and other stakeholders to coordinate program activities, support participant engagement and
- provide high-quality advice and administrative support.
- No two days are the same, with the role offering a mix of stakeholder engagement, event
- coordination, problem solving and program administration. In this fast-paced environment, you will
- help create a positive participant experience, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and
- support the successful delivery of talent programs.
Eligibility / Notes
- To be eligible for employment with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, applicants
- must be an Australian citizen at the time an offer of employment is made.
- An applicant’s suitability for employment with Health will also be assessed through a variety of
- pre-employment check processes, such as:
- Satisfactory completion of a nationally coordinated criminal history check, and where
- relevant, a Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check,
- Completion of a medical declaration and pre-employment medical (where required),
- Providing evidence of qualifications (where required), and
- Obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
- For this role applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance or hold
- a current security clearance at an appropriate level.
- Requirements
- To be considered for these roles, we are seeking people keen to be part of a team environment
- that involves regular in-office attendance at least 2 days per week and participate in rosters within
- usual business hours to ensure our customer facing services are supported.
