Vacancy
Duties
- The Temporary Employment Register can be used for non-ongoing (temporary) positions that are
- short-term or project-based, up to 12 months. Opportunities may be available across APS 2 to
- APS 6 classifications and Executive Level 1 and 2.
- Roles may be full time, part time or casual (intermittent and varied hours) and may call for various
- skills and areas of expertise, for example:
- Collections Management – preservation, cataloguing, acquisitions, special collections
- management, curatorship, archivists
- Library Services – reference services, reading room floor, document supply services,
- collection retrieval, research
- Digital and IT Services – IT support and operations, Trove, digitisation, digital preservation,
- web development, graphic design
- Corporate services and administration – finance, human resources, executive support,
- building management, records management
- Exhibitions and Engagement – education, marketing, editorial/publishing, exhibition
- installation.
