Duties
- We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Specialist to join Enterprise Solutions and
- Technology.
- As an IT Technical Specialist (Network), you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice,
- engineering oversight, change management and governance for our Secure Internet Gateway and
- broader network services within a large, complex enterprise environment.
- You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security and scalability of network and gateway
- services by applying strong network and security architecture principles across on-premises and
- cloud-based environments. The role includes providing expert input into solution design,
- overseeing change implantation, and ensuring services align with organisational standards, risk
- frameworks and security requirements.
- You will manage and influence relationships with internal stakeholders and external service
- providers, ensuring operational performance, service delivery outcomes and continuous
- improvement objectives are met. You’ll contribute to uplifting team capability through technical
- leadership, coaching and knowledge sharing, supporting a culture of continuous learning and high
- performance.
- This role operates across business-as-usual, project and enhancement activities, and provides
- leadership through periods of change by supporting stakeholders and team members through new
- ways of working, technology uplift and service transformation initiatives.
- You will lead by example and advocate for technological advances to support improved
- efficiencies.
- This role will require participation in an on call rotation to support after hours activity as part of the
- ongoing operation of enterprise network services.
