About the Opportunity: The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is a historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. You’ll work at the centre of a whole-of-nation effort to safely and securely deliver a cutting-edge program that will shape our economy and national security for decades to come. As Director Operations, you’ll oversee the Henderson Infrastructure Branch’s mission to ensure our build partners deliver an NPS-SY that meets exacting standards, while coordinating with Commonwealth entities and industry to align on regulatory, safety and statutory expectations.

Duties (What You Will Do)

About You (Eligibility)
- Strong analytical ability; capable of quickly identifying gaps in needs against operational concepts.
- Experience in capability management and requirements development and compliance.
- Understanding of standards and a systems engineering approach to problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership and teamwork skills.
- Security clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance.
- Background in project/sustainment management, engineering, construction or related commercial fields is valuable.
