- Strong interpersonal and influential communication skills
- Ability to lead complex change programs and influence organisational culture
- Experience in governance, risk management and assurance
- Ability to translate strategy into operational goals and foster collaboration
- Resilience, professionalism and commitment to action
- Negotiation skills and the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences
- Mandatory qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification in veterinary science, animal science, agricultural science, compliance/audit, regulation or related discipline
- Must hold a valid Australian motor vehicle drivers’ licence
- May be required to perform occasional out-of-hours and weekend work
- Uniforms are provided for field operations where applicable
