About Defence Housing Australia
DHA maintains a Temporary Employment Register to attract talented, enthusiastic and capable
individuals for short-term opportunities across a range of business areas and classification levels.
Opportunities may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on business needs.
Roles filled through the register are with an initial non-ongoing engagement of up to temporary,
12 months, with the potential for extension of up to a further 6 months.
Please note:
Engagement through this register does not provide a pathway to ongoing employment under
the Public Service Act 1999.
Submission of an application does not guarantee employment.
If a suitable opportunity arises that matches your skills and experience, DHA may contact you to
discuss the role.
Applications will remain active until 30 June 2027 and will not be carried over beyond this
date.
