Duties (What You Will Do)

| Assist Registrars and Deputy Registrars with pre-constitution case management to ensure timely, high-quality services for external and internal users. |
| Contribute to dispute resolution strategies, maintain best-practice knowledge (including trauma-informed practices) for users with disabilities or vulnerabilities. |
| Maintain an advanced understanding of applicable legislation and ART policies; provide day-to-day advice on case management issues and escalate risks as needed. |
| Develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support statutory objectives and facilitate case progression. |
| Identify and implement innovative processes to improve case management efficiency and service delivery. |
About You (Eligibility)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team culture and uphold APS values and conduct.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting legislation within case contexts.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain productive stakeholder relationships and work towards shared outcomes.
- Ability to grasp the Tribunal’s legislative and policy context quickly, especially around case management services for diverse users.
- Qualifications: A university degree in law, dispute resolution, or related field; or equivalent training/experience relevant to the Tribunal’s functions.
- Eligibility: Australian Citizenship. Must be able to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment. Security Clearance – Baseline or eligible to obtain.
