Eligibility / Notes
- The Library is seeking to fill a ongoing Project Officer, Digitisation Projects APS5 role in the
- Digitisation Projects Section of the Collaboration Branch.
- The Project Officer, Digitisation Projects coordinates planning and delivery of digitisation projects.
- The role ensures digitisation work meets rights, collection preservation, and scheduling
- requirements while coordinating activities across internal teams and external providers. They also
- contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices, through the
- development of workflows and procedures, providing staff training, and strengthening stakeholder
- relationships.
- We are looking for someone interested in creating a lasting impact with a committed team. Our
- ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering successful projects, demonstrate strong
- communication skills, and will be experienced with heritage collections. If you are interested in
- working with stakeholders from across the Library to facilitate public access to the Australia’s
- unique collections, this is for you.
- To succeed in this role:
- Experience working with digitisation programs for heritage or cultural collections.
- Manage projects of a technical and specialised nature.
