About National Anti-Corruption Commission

The Education and Outreach Team plays a critical role in supporting NACC’s corruption
prevention and education functions. The team designs, delivers and evaluates high-quality
education, engagement and outreach activities that build integrity capability across the
Commonwealth public sector.
As a Senior Education Officer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of contemporary
learning products, education programs and stakeholder engagement initiatives that promote
integrity and support corruption prevention outcomes. You will work closely with subject matter
experts, Commonwealth entities and external stakeholders to translate complex integrity concepts
into practical, accessible and engaging learning experiences.
This role requires strong instructional design and communication skills, sound judgement, and the
ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will contribute to the continuous
improvement of the Commission’s education and outreach offerings through research, evaluation
and the application of adult learning principles.
Occasional travel may be required.
Key activities:
Design, develop and maintain high-quality education, training and outreach products that
support corruption prevention and integrity capability across the Commonwealth public
sector.
Apply contemporary adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to
create engaging and accessible learning experiences across a range of delivery channels.
Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of education and outreach activities,
including workshops, presentations, webinars, online learning products and stakeholder
events.
Translate complex legislative, policy and integrity concepts into clear, practical and
audience-focused educational resources.
Build and maintain productive relationships with Commonwealth entities, integrity partners,
professional networks and other stakeholders to support the Commission’s education
objectives.
Conduct research and environmental scanning on emerging corruption prevention, integrity
and adult education practices to inform continuous improvement and innovations.
Monitor and evaluate and report on the effectiveness of education and outreach initiative,
identifying opportunities to strengthen impact and reach.
Coordinate education and outreach projects and activities, ensuring quality outcomes are
delivered within agreed timeframes.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture and support broader Commission priorities as
required.

The NACC is a small agency. In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to
undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your
capabilities. Supporting one another in this way provides opportunities for exposure across the

Eligibility / Notes

  • Employment with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is subject to the following
  • conditions:
  • Citizenship – Applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Security Clearance – This is a Designated Security Assessment Position (DSAP). The
  • occupant of this position must obtain and retain an AGSVA security clearance to the
  • specified level.
  • Suitability assessment – The NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of
  • suitable character. They must undergo a rigorous pre-employment suitability screening
  • process that can be intrusive in nature including (but not limited to) detailed background,
  • character, employment, police, and financial checks.
  • Probation – A probation period will apply to any new ongoing engagement to the Australian
  • Public Service.
