technologies to support the development and continuous improvement of the DLTE. Effective
communication, sound judgement and strong organisational skills will be essential as you support
complex work priorities within a dynamic learning environment.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in learning technology, capability analysis and learning
development, with the ability to translate education and training needs into integrated
fit-for-purpose solutions. The candidate must bring strong coordination and organisational skills to
support development of technology solutions aligned to Defence priorities.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, alongside the ability to contribute to
governance forums. Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities are critical.
Experience in standards stewardship, analytics and KPI reporting and working in complex contexts
will be highly regarded.
Duties
- The Role
- Join the Defence Learning Technologies team as an APS 6 Learning Technology Development
- Officer within the Defence Education Learning and Training Authority (DELTA), located at the
- Australian Defence College Weston. Working under broad direction and in support of the Deputy
- Director Defence Learning Technologies, you will contribute to the delivery and continuous
- improvement of the Defence Learning Technology Environment (DLTE).
- In this role you will support education, training and development outcomes by undertaking learning
- technology and capability gap analysis, assisting with the development of integrated system
- requirements and supporting evidence-based decision-making. You will coordinate improvement
- activities and support the application of technology and data standards.
- You will work collaboratively with a range of Defence stakeholders to support established
- governance forums, contribute to conceptual technology design and assist with analytics and KPI
- reporting.
