About Productivity Commission
The Productivity Commission (PC) is the Australian Government’s independent research and
advisory body on a range of economic, social and environmental issues affecting the welfare of
Australians.
Duties
- About the Register
- This register is open for applicants to express general interest in employment opportunities with
- the PC, including existing Australian Public Service (APS) employees seeking to transfer to the
- PC. This register enables the PC to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at
- short notice, should future non-ongoing vacancies arise at the APS Level 3 – Executive Level 2
- classification.
- Positions that become available may be based in either our Melbourne or Canberra offices.
- Depending on the business needs of the PC, we may use the register to fill full-time, part-time or
- casual positions.
- In the application form, you will be required to select areas of interest and advise the skillsets most
- closely aligned with your experience. Applicants may be contacted and assessed for their
- suitability either through a formal or informal selection process as employment opportunities arise.
