About the Opportunity
The Joint Position, Navigation and Timing Directorate (JPD) under the Joint Capabilities Group delivers critical PNT capability for Defence. About You (Eligibility)
- Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance.
- Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Australian institution) or recognised equivalent under the Washington Accord.
- Technical Proficiencies: RF systems knowledge, test & evaluation methods, analytics, modelling & simulation tools; understanding of One Defence Capability System.
- Soft Skills: Initiative, sound judgement, strong communication, ability to work both independently and in a team, and a collaborative mindset.
- Mobility: Willing to undertake interstate and remote work, including trials on military platforms and exercises.
