About the Opportunity: The Australian Federal Police (AFP) is seeking a skilled Assistant Forensic Accountant to join the Criminal Assets, Fraud and Corruption Command. You’ll help identify sources of financial evidence, assist in its collection and analysis, and produce findings that inform investigations and legal decisions. About You (Eligibility)
- You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
- Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Tertiary qualification in accountancy or commerce.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in auditing, financial investigations or financial analysis.
- Desirable: forensic accounting knowledge, expert evidence experience, membership or in-progress membership with a recognised accounting body (CA/CPA/IPA), Certificate IV in Government Investigations, and knowledge of cryptocurrency regulation.
