Duties (What You Will Do)

Rotation activities – Support delivery of government priorities through operational, policy, program or project work; assist with research, analysis and information gathering; prepare briefings and reports; engage with stakeholders; contribute to continuous improvement; and perform day-to-day business activities within your team.
You’ll be trusted with real work from day one, supported by your team and mentors. Each rotation is designed to build capability, confidence and clarity, helping you discover where you thrive and what kind of career you want to build.

About You (Eligibility)

  • Australian citizenship
  • Completed Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 or higher (Bachelor degree) by 31 December 2026, recognised by the AQF
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Employment Suitability Clearance or onboarding check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level
  • Degree obtained overseas must be recognised by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (if applicable)
  • Strong communicator who works well in diverse teams and is open to feedback
